We focus on the production and development of textile special solutions in small quantities. We have focussed on this since our foundation out of TITV Greiz. Since then, we have continually expanded our production spectrum.
Today, we manufacture various technical textiles and smart textiles for a wide range of clients, e.g. from the medical, automotive and filtration industries. The development of our ELITEX® brand allowed us to establish a new range of electrically conductive threads on the market. These are successfully used in various industries today.

Greiz: An location with a tradition of textile production
“Anything woven and dyed in Greiz lasts until your grandson inherits it”.
This saying is testament to the artisanal pride and local patriotism of the Greiz textile industry. The weaving mill and textile finishing factories have shaped the town of Greiz for nearly 500 years. Today, the textile industry is only of low economic importance. However, the former weaver’s huts, factory owner’s villas, manufacturing and industrial buildings can still be seen all around the town. And there is still a lot of textile expertise in the town. We were able to build on this potential together with our partner, the Greiz e. V. textile research institute. With our know-how for excellent solutions for technical textiles, we combine craftsmanship with scientific curiosity, tradition with innovation.

The Textilforschungsinstitut Thüringen-Vogtland e. V. is our partner for research and testing services. The main focus of research at the TITV is in the fields of Smart Textiles, surface functionalization and flexible materials. The TITV concentrates on application-oriented research and supports companies in joint projects to develop new, innovative products.
